The ROKiT British F4 Championship is set to return to Silverstone National Circuit this weekend for the penultimate round of the season. This will be the second time the series has visited the iconic circuit this year, having previously raced on the Grand Prix layout.

The National configuration offers a unique challenge for drivers, with its mix of high-speed straights and technical corners. The previous round at Donington Park saw a variety of drivers claim victories, including championship contenders Degan Fairclough and Alex Ninovic.

Fairclough is now poised to clinch the championship title this weekend, ahead of the final round at Brands Hatch. Other notable performances from the previous round included James Higgins and Rowan Campbell-Pilling, who both secured podium finishes.

The JHR Developments team also had a strong showing at Donington Park, with Ella Lloyd and Leo Robinson claiming podiums and Chloe Chong achieving her best result of the season.

Lloyd will be absent from this weekend’s British F4 action due to her participation in the F1 Academy at the Singapore Grand Prix. Harri Reynolds will take over the third JHR entry in her place.

Gustav Jonsson, the 2023 British F4 Rookie Champion, will also be returning to the series this weekend. He will compete for Chris Dittman Racing, the team he won the Rookie title with last season.

Thomas Bearman and Emily Cotty are both set to make their British F4 debuts. Bearman will join Hitech Pulse-Eight after making his single-seater debut last weekend in the Euro 4 Championship. Cotty will compete for Phinsys by Argenti alongside Yuanpu Cui and Rowan Campbell-Pilling.

Fairclough and Ninovic currently hold the top two positions in the Drivers’ Championship, followed by Reza Seewooruthun and James Higgins. In the Rookie Cup standings, Yuanpu Cui leads Martin Molnar by 18 points.

Hitech Pulse-Eight leads the Teams’ Cup by 26.5 points over Rodin Motorsport.

Qualifying for the C1RCUIT Watches Pole Position Award will take place on Saturday morning, followed by Race One in the afternoon. Races Two and Three will be held on Sunday.

For fans, there will be an autograph session with the drivers on Sunday at 11:00 AM. Sunday’s action will be broadcast on ITV4 in the UK.
