Headline sponsor of Race Retro, Reis Motorsport Insurance, has announced that a competition 1970 orange Porsche 911 and a racing simulator will take centre stage on its stand in Hall 2.

Visitors will be able to compete for the fastest lap around Knockhill in the simulator, from Scottish Motor Racing Club, for the chance to win a funded drive in a SMTA Scottish C1 Cup Race Weekend.

The incredible prize package also includes arrangement and funding for an ARDS Licence, a Motorsport UK Competitor Licence and accommodation for the Race Weekend.

Alongside the simulator will be a competition 1970 Porsche 911. The orange 2.2 litre version, which has been kindly loaned by HERO events, has had a ground up restoration to return it to pristine condition. It has competed extensively in Europe and is a well-known and highly regarded vehicle.

Richard Morley, Broking Director at Reis, comments: “As headline sponsor, we wanted to give visitors something special and are offering our biggest prize to date. In addition, our team will be on hand to discuss enthusiasts’ motorsport insurance needs and letting attendees know how they can win a pair of VIP BTCC tickets on Sunday 29th March. It’s going to be a great weekend!”
