Leading motorsport, track day and modified car insurer Reis Motorsport Insurance has entered into a partnership with one of the UK’s oldest and most-loved independently-owned race tracks – Castle Combe Circuit – it was announced at the Autosport International event held at Birmingham’s NEC this week.
Castle Combe Circuit is active over 280 days of each year; hosting everything from track days through to race meetings as well as some of the country’s most popular car shows such as Rallyday.
Set to offer tailor-made insurance solutions to not just race car owners and teams but also those who own and run performance and modified track cars that they plan to bring to the Wiltshire venue throughout 2019, the news was heralded as a great step forward for both parties involved.
It was also announced that Reis will be sponsoring the circuit’s ever-popular GT Championship for 2019, with all cars on the grid set to sport the firm’s logo throughout the season. The fact the company is already known to support the likes of works British Touring Car Championship Halfords Honda team and Toyota GB driver, Tom Ingram, is only a testament to how respected and well-recognised the GT Championship has become.
“We are often asked about track day and motorsport insurance so we are delighted that Reis is now able to offer a wide range of solutions for our customers,” Castle Combe Circuit’s Head of Sales and Marketing, Tom Davis, explains. “Reis has the ability and understanding to supply an extremely relevant and satisfactory product with its knowledge and background in motorsport – something that’s of increasing importance to petrolheads in this day and age.”
Mark Taylor, Motorsport Broker Manager at Reis, was also present at Autosport International to give his thoughts on the news. “We were attracted to the forward thinking, proactive attitude and varied range of live events hosted at the Castle Combe Circuit. Our range of motorsport and track day covers, high performance and modified car insurance products are specifically designed for those attending the Live events or participating on track. One of our key straplines “We Share Your Passion” is highly relevant here, we cannot wait to meet plenty of new faces during the 2019 season at Castle Combe Circuit and will continue to offer our help and support.”
