Reis powers into 2024 with new ExcelR8 partnership

Reis and ExcelR8 Mini Championship partners - REIS Motorsport Insurance

Reis Motorsport Insurance can today confirm an expanded partnership with the ExcelR8 team that will cover their assault on the 2024 Vertu MINI CHALLENGE.

The team, which continues to operate its multi-car MINI programme from a base in Suffolk, first joined forces with Reis ahead of the 2022 British Touring Car Championship season – which would prove to be a year of huge success as Tom Ingram secured the championship title.

Reis logos proudly adorned EXCELR8’s Hyundai i30 Fastback N machines for the past two seasons, with the partnership now moving over to the team’s entry into the BTCC-supporting MINI CHALLENGE.

Having secured multiple championship titles, EXCELR8 is this season running six cars in the Cooper class of the MINI CHALLENGE, with a further eight cars entered into the headline JCW category.

A further twelve meetings are still to run for the MINI CHALLENGE, with nine alongside the BTCC and three Cooper events that include a bespoke MINI event at Croft and two rounds alongside the British Truck Racing Championship.

Mark Taylor, Head of Motorsports at Reis, said:

“We’re really looking forward to a great season of racing. The EXCELR8 MINIs have been hugely successful with multiple championships, and Reis is delighted to play a part in ensuring the continued success of the team and their competitors.

“Reis has been insuring motorsport vehicles, competitors and teams since 2008, and we’re delighted to be at the heart of the action, supporting motorsport, reiterating our commitment for the long-term.”

Justina Williams, EXCELR8 Team Owner, said:

“Reis have been a valued partner of our BTCC programme in recent years, so we are delighted that our relationship will continue into 2024 through our entries into the MINI CHALLENGE.

“Partnerships like this are important for the ongoing success of the team both on and off track, and we look forward to a strong season with Reis on all fronts during 2024.”
